About Micah Gampbel

I am Canadian photographer living in Kyoto Japan. Since getting my first Kodak camera when I was 12 years old I have loved photography.

That was medium format b&w film, and then I learned 35 mm photography in highschool, developing and printing.　

Today I shoot digital photographs using a Nikon D70s SLR digital camera. I also shoot b&w film and colour slide. I use medium format film and cameras and my large, 4x5 inch viewcamera for beautiful detailed photos taken with time and care.
